Hi,

In Aspire7  A717-72G I do see menu selection in BIOS to put second drive as first boot option. I have searched the technical article related with boot order in this site, but I am not satisfied.  How can I set second drive as primary boot device ? Any advice is much appreciate.

Thanks

I can see boot partition in the boot order. They might be a GPT partitioned.
I need to take sometime to understand GPT partitions in UEFI BIOS.
Thanks for your quick response much appreciated

If the drive is showing up in the BIOS boot order, then first set and save a supervisor password. Then re-enter the BIOS with the password to disable secure boot. Then you should be able to change the boot order. Jack E/NJ

Unfortunately I do not see all boot devices in the BIOS boot order. it just blank in there.
Is there any setting in the BIOS to change to show all boot devices ?

If I plug in a usb system  BIOS and f12 will show the selection to boot up from first disk(ssd) and usb device.  but in BIOS boot order it do not show up boot order between first and second disk.

Does the device show up in the BIOS Information tab? If it shows up in the BIOS Information tab but not in the BIOS Boot order tab, then it is not partitioned correctly. It must be GPT partitioned in UEFI BIOS to show up in the Boot order. Jack E/NJ
