Starts making a different noise at around 0:54, and sputters out at the end. Sorry I slightly muffled my phone by accident. Noise is coming from

that vent(?)

Can anyone identify this noise? Faulty fan or..? I recently took it to repair because of this noise and a blue screen. I got a new hard drive and they cleaned it however I soon realized the noise still happens maybe after an hour of use and lasts at most 3 minutes. They occur more regularly after the first. It's working perfectly that aside but I'm afraid it will damage my computer.

If anyone recognizes the problem from the noise that would be amazing. I'd really appreciate any help. Thank you!

Sounds like a beat frequency between the cooling fan rpm and the mechanical hard drive rpm to me. Fan runs about 3000rpm after things heat up, HDD about 5000rpm. So the beat would be the difference between the two. About 2000rpm or 30-40Hz. A low-piteched sound. Sounds about right to me. Jack E/NJ

Thank you for the response. Should I replace that cooling fan?

No. There is no problem. Beat harmonics naturally occurs between rotating or vibrating parts. Beat pitch varies with temperature due to fan response.  No damage will result from this phenomenom. Jack E/NJ
