Hi guys,
I am struggling with my Helios 500, I bought a Samsung M2 SSD 860 EVO 1tb, I tried to install it into the 2nd open M2 slot, but the bios would just not detect it. I am not sure why, If I remove the oem 256 and place the Samsung it does detect but then the 256 is not picking up in the bios. Could my 2nd slot be faulty or am I doing something wrong.
This is what I was trying to install

Hi,
Could you please post the Disk management snip, others also having this problem, my guess is that these models support only RAID setup but I am not 100% sure it's the case, also please run Intel Rapid Storage and check whether your stock SSD and HDD in RAID but don't make any changes in the IRST software, just show me with snips of it, like mine.
