    I have an problem with acer ES1 531 laptop where "No bootable device" is showing at starting. But when I enter into BIOS, all option is locked except time & user password. And Supervisor password is set.

    IS THIS THREAD STILL ACTIVE ? BECAUSE I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY ACER ASPIRE 3 BIOS ALL OF THEM ARE GREY EXCEPT THE EXIT SAVE CHANGES

    You can try to do a BIOS reset.

    How do I reset my BIOS/UEFI to default settings?
    1. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, or until your system shuts completely down.
    2. Power on the system. Keep on tapping the F2 button continously to get into the BIOS.
    3. Press F9 and then Enter to load the default configuration.
    4. Press F10 and then Enter to save and exit.
    if that doesn't work then you have to do a complete reset.

    Check the above link to do a complete reset.

    NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data before the reset.
