Ive had this issue for 5 years now and its all because of your restricting my use to the intel management engine interface. Ive been trying to get a hacker out of my home for 5 years and i discovered that these said people have been accessing the Intel management engine interface along WITH the AMT. BOTH options are hidden away in the bios and you give no hint as to how to enable the advanced features. i figured it out eventually, but the ability to see the advanced features only gives me an option to switch on and off the AMT interface, which now can be accessed and switched on at ANY time because their keys are stored. They are also accessing my intel Management Engine interface as well through voice technologies and inter computer communications.

You give no hint ANYWHERE as to how to access the intel management engine sub bios interface. Its a CRITICAL security feature in devices. BOTH the AMT and the ME allow for remote connections to the inner workings of the machine I Never knew the machine had either until recently. Im very familiar with ME ive got a few machines i use with it. I had no clue what AMT was at all. YOU FAILED to even mention anything about the ME or the AMT in the factory user manual. You also gave no hint on accessing the fairly extensive modifications in the advanced bios, thats besides the point. The Problem is that you hid VITAL security features from those that purchased your product, and still one feature is unavailable the ME. Ive had thousands of dollars lost because of your failure to provide that information with the purchase. I demand that you notify me on how to access my ME so i can lock it down. Ive seen nowhere in any section of your site even an update for the ME aside from models that you found to be effected by the issue, when in fact MY model was too.

You make it hard to contact support in ANY way because the product isnt under warranty. BUT see, I see a clause in this warranty, on a failure of YOUR behalf to notify and establish the facts of the device. YOU left a gaping hole in the security of the device. I half patched 1 end, now I need and DEMAND the access to my ME. I should be calling a Lawyer. Just because the laptop is only maybe worth $100 these days, its still my machine, and my machine has been doing all types of mischief behind my back and i couldnt sniff out where it was coming from and how they could initiate contact even in safemode or hell even in my bios interface they would flash the screen on me. Theyve effectivly trashed 3 pcs and a few hdd. know and behold this one survives for a purpose. I HAD to go to intel to get all the information about my AMT because you dont offer it on my laptop page, and the ME they said they couldnt help me with because only YOU have the know how to access the interface. Im not going to wait patiently on this I want the information immediately. I dont want any excuses nor any bullcrap. You tell me how to access it, and or give me a flash tool with a reflash of the me, that has the interface UNLOCKED with a series of buttons. usually its ctrl p. For you admins and forum mods do forward this to the acer official tech dept, and hell even their legal dept. Cause if i dont get what i ask for I will be suing acer.
