need to know if the VT-X and VT-D can affect the installation of geforce mx150 driver? cureently the nvidia geforce mx150 is not work since there is an erro code 4 after installtion of the driver.

If the driver was not downloaded from ACER, please go to this link, enter your machine's model number and download/install the ACER driver for the mx150. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

we already tried to install the driver on the acer website. However, the mx150 encountered an error code 43. We tried imstall and uninstall the driver but still the same. We also tried on the nvidia website but still the same. We check the hardware and it is okay. We tried several steps for the the nvidia geforcex150 to work but we failed. Error code 43 is still the same. Please help me on this.

e5-576g. Go back into Device Mgr. Uninstall the nVidia driver. Don't re-install anything. Exit Device Manager. Cold boot. Let Windows automatically re-detect and re-install the driver. Jack E/NJ

sorry for the late update...issue is still the same...how ever, i think the geforce mx150 is working even it has an error code 43..but there is no control panel..i can play the game like ROS and pubg...world of thank is also working..thus this means that the nvidia vcard is working?

If you uninstalled the mx150 driver but let Windows automatically re-detect/re-install, and code 43 persists, then the mx150 probably still isn't kicking in. Press Winkey + R. Enter dxdiag. Click display. What do you see? Jack E/NJ

we purchased it, first week of august..Windows 10 is the original OS of this unit.

windows 10 is the original OS. I tried to use windows 7 and 8 but there are some features that are not supported by this unit including the geforce mx150. that is why i reinstalled the windows 10. However, after reinstalling the graphics it wont work from the oldest to the latest version of the geforce mx150. the mistake i have made was i did not save the previous drivers because i thought that it is the same as the 7th gen below.0

That's what I needed to know. How did you actually re-install Win10? Did you use the ALT+F10 coldboot method to re-install the ACER-specific Win10 version that depends on a hidden ACER recovery partition on the HDD? Or did you try to install a Microsoft generic version of Win10. There's a big difference between the two. Jack E/NJ

Have you tried installing windows 10 in uefi mode? See what you have installed in legacy mode:
