Can the HDD drive and intel optane be removed and replaced with an SSD drive instead?

Can the HDD drive and intel optane be removed and replaced with an SSD drive instead? I'm just concerned that the HDD might slow it down.

Hi,
Intel Optane memory will speed up your HDD but if you don't want it, you can replace the Intel Optane memry with a M.2 SSD and use the HDD for additional storage.

Hi,

I see "RST with Optane" option at SATA mode in an A515-51G-546E laptop's v1.21 bios, but when I put in an optane drive the RST software tells me that the system is ready for optane, but there is "No compatible disks for Intel Optane Memory", even thought it show's up in the device manager.
Are there any possibilities that it can and will be fixed in the near future?
