Seriously would have edited out the taskbar and namebar(?) but the trackpad SERIOUSLY SUCKS! Would have added more jokes, but I'm seriously out of them! :(

    >>>I just want to know if I have the right parts. >>>
As I previously noted, right click the Windows start button, open Device Manager where most of the parts should for your system be listed name and model. You can also run msinfo32.exe for even more information on these parts. As for parts performance, one of the best tools is already installed on your system, task manager. If it's not already on your taskbar just right click the Windows start button on the left and choose task manager. By choosing task manager performance tab you can evaluate CPU, memory, disk, wifi & bluetooth performance. Even more info on performance and speed can be assessed from the Windows command line using the WMIC tool. But I suggest that you focus on Device Manager, Task Manager and MSINFO32 from the Win10 graphical interface instead of the command line. Jack E/NJ

Looks like it's acceptable, even better than acceptable, to the folks who wrote UserBenchmark. Why do you ask? As for the trackpad, they all seriously suck. Use a mouse like I do. Jack E/NJ

Just bought the laptop and making sure everything's working fine!

Just make sure system protection is enabled in Control Panel's restore point creation app. That's so a major Win10 update creates a restore point in the likely event that it messes up your system to the point that it would seriously fail to meet even the UserBenchmark benchmarks. Jack E/NJ

Thank you, how do I check if the hardware is working properly?

Arguably the best hardware monitor is Device Manager. If no red or yellow warnings appear on Device Manager's hardware list, then all are working properly. You can access Device Manager by right clicking the Windows taskbar start icon or search Device Manager in Control Panel. Jack E/NJ

Thank you so much. I just want to see if the parts are working to the specifications they were promised. Any suggestions?

Which device specifications that were promised are you interested in? Then we can look into each one. How about CPU speed? Or maybe disk drive read, write speed? Or the graphics adapter capability? How about battery health? What interests you the most? Each one may have a different test method. Jack E/NJ

I just want to know if I have the right parts. A complete diagnostic if you may. But assuming I can't test every part (is that even not possible?), I think I'll stick to the majors:

    RAM speed and performance
    Both HDD speed and performance
    GPU speed and performance
    CPU speed and performance
I don't know if I should be checking MOBO, also not sure what to check for and if it is possible to do so.

Basically, like I said, I just want a basic benchmark to run, to see all the major components are working as they should, and that I got the parts I was promised, like a 5400 RPM HDD instead of a 7200 HDD, Ha! :D
