NVidia Driver 416.34 won't install from GeForce Experience.

My current driver is 399.07 and after opening GeForce Experience, it automatically starts downloading 416.34. After the download finishes, it shows an error 'not able to install' and tells me to try again. No matter how many times I try, it downloads completely but never installs. I have been updating drivers using GeForce Experience only from the factory driver version and haven't had any issue until now. Shall I just wait for next update or do nothing?

Hi,
Some drivers are modified to suit Acer hardware, it may be one of the reasons for difficulty in updating to version 416.34, you could try this, download the driver from NVIDIA site, then go to Device manager, expand Display adapters, right click NVIDIA card, click Update driver, then select "Browse my computer for driver software", select the location where your downloaded driver saved.

Hi,
It's better to backup your system whenever update drivers, at least you should create a system restore point so that you can go back to a point when everything was working fine, as for this method, I have shown another method to update driver, I have no idea whether the new driver will improve your graphics or not. If your graphics performance is good, I would suggest you to wait for next update.
