Can't Pair Acer 14 by Bluetooth to my Phonak ComPilot for Use with Hearing Aids

I just bought new Acer 14.  I switched on Bluetooth, and it recognized my Phonak ComPilot.  It said "Connecting to Phonak Compilot." However, it would not connect, and I got the message "Authentication code rejected while connecting to "Phonak Compilot"."  I had no opportunity to enter the authentication code -- no prompt -- nothing.

If I can't connect my Compilot, which controls my hearing aids to the Acer 14, I will have to return it, because I won't be able to watch and listen to videos.

Please help.

Have you contacted Phonak support,if bluetooth recognises it there's maybe an update issue with the code.Maybe do a hard re-start of the Acer 14 shut off the ComPilot too give it 30seconds restart both an see if you get the same bluetooth error. Hope you can get it up an running.

Sorry to hear that.  I am having similar failure to connect ComPilot with ASpire desktop, although audiologist and Phonak   say it is possible.  I bought a Sennheiser  BTD800 USB "dongle", which the computer has "recognised"; I believe I have paired the ComPilot with computer. I am awaiting "Support" from both Sennheiser  and Phonak (which offers TV connection, & demo videos show pairing with ComPilot). (The "authentication code" is merely to prove our identity--I received one promptly by email.)
