Just bought a new Aspire E15 yesterday and updated system but still not able to use the short cuts Ctrl C,V, and X, or use Right click at on the track pad as well as the keyboard at all like a normal PC? What do I do?

What do you mean by "updated"? Copy, paste hotkey operations depend on what apps you're trying to use them in. Jack E/NJ

I updated the Windows 10 Operation system that's it, right click or Ctrl click is just a universal short cut everywhere to access to sub menus or just simple cut and paste0

See this webpage. It may be simpler to return the device for a full refund.

That's what I'm referring to. Precisely how did you update Win10? Jack E/NJ

I updated Windows 10 from the Setting>Windows Update and followed the link at the page "Keep Your Device Up To Date and Secure" to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027667, and updated from there!

The mystery is solved at last, it turned out in order to do a right click on the track pad on this Laptop, you right click the lower right corner on the track pad instead of the usual right upper corner! Thanks everyone who helped. Now how do I add emoji here?0

There should be a macro for it. Editing (cogwheel in upper right hand corner) is available after more postings.0

@skyler Congrats on your success. You might want to check here for user or quickstart manuals for your system that doesn't seem to act like a normal pc. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers And if you're machine seems to be running OK, do NOT be tempted to install driver or BIOS updates for the sake of updating. Updates claiming to provide improved but unspecified performance benefits often result in unintended consequences on a machine that has no obvious issues. Jack E/NJ

Thanks JackE for your good advise, I was thinking the same as well, why ruin a good thing if it's not broken! I already looked it up on the support page o for the drivers, I was just not convinced that it was the drivers, that's why I didn't download anything and play around with the track pad setting instead.1
