crystal eye app stoppped working "App did not launch within its allotted time"

It used to work but the Acer Crystal Eye App on my W510 tablet stoppen working after the latest updates.

When I start the app, I can see the camera image for half a second and the app will stop working.

In the eventlog it stated:

    Do you have updated driver package to 2.08 and done windows update ?

    yes, I updated to the latest drivers package from the acer support site and also all windows 8 updates. this problem started after I updated this from the windows app store. and there are other users having the same problem stated in the app store.

    yes, the problem began after I updated the app from MS store.
