Hello there. I have a problem with my acer aspire 5720g. When it`s plugged in and charging the screen crashesh. At first its normal, but after a few minutes the screen goes completly white. My driver is not on it`s latest version, due to a problem with bsod stop:0x116. If anyone knows why this happens, please leave a comment.

Thanks, hp11

          b. Type troubleshooting in the search bar, click on troubleshooting.
          c. Click on Hardware and Sound, click on Hardware and Devices.
          d. Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.
          e. Press Windows Key + X key,click device manager.
          f. double click on the batteries, make a right click on the complaint control method battery and select uninstall.
Restart the computer after the uninstall.

This fix involves reinstalling the video card driver.

What is the current Win version you are using. Try to take the backup of your computer and do a reset on the device. with Alt + f10.

My current version is the latest one of win 7. Will it help if I update it to 10/8.1?

Check if your computer is compatible for win 8.1. check if there is drivers for win 8.1 with the link below. enter the sn or snid. check for drivers.
