I have an Aspire TC 885 and saw a BIOS update to v4 was recently posted but there is zero information on what has changed.  Is this info available anywhere?  I know that I needed the last update to get ahci working correctly.  This one seemed to change the USB ports somehow so I had to revert.

The board is a b360 series so i am hoping that the BIOS will be updated to support intel gen9 cpus.

Typically a generation change from Intel requires the new generation chipset, so I wouldn't get your hopes up on putting a gen9 CPU into your gen8 system. I don't see a change log either, maybe one of the Acer guys can look it up for us.

I've read that many b360 makers like gigabyte Asus biostar etc are doing this via BIOS updates so I am keeping my fingers crossed.  For Acer this would be a cost saver too.

Hopefully Acer will post the change log, thanks
