Hi everyone,
i've just purchased this lovely looking machine.
Few questions if i may:

1. screen bleed? this is the pic i took after unpacking. What is the verdict?

Also below are the poor temperature & performance screens:

COD:BO4 in main menus values

COD:BO in game values

But my question is: do i return this due to screen bleed? argos claims that i need to speak to acer rather than returning it to them (although i bought it 8 days ago)

If decide/and get go-ahead to get a replacement are temp/performance managable or even improvable?

Thank you!

Also it appears you have many background services (Plex for example) while gaming.
COD BO IV is verrryyy CPU hungry so optimizing is important. Try this video and apply its methods to all the other software(s) that are running in task schedule and services to alleviate background usage.

A picture of screen bleed will always look much worse than the actualnscreen bleed so sharing a picture isn't a accurate way to gauge this (for us).
I would say that it is quite normal for any IPS panel to have screen bleed as it is the nature of these panels. (Even my 3k $ Alienware has it and my Razer Blade Stealth).

If you find it's too much of course only you can truely tell then feel free to send it into Acer or you can open your laptops bezel around the panel and slightly loosen the screws holding the panel in place to help alleviate the bleed.
