No provision to add on HDD? I can only replace with HDD/SSD.

Finally I opened the backside slot to check the dimensions of the HDD/SSD slot and to check if I need to claim/purchase upgrade kit.

To my surprise, there is no space. It has already 256 GB SSD.

Does that mean I cannot add on with a 1TB HDD?
All I can do is entirely replace the existing SSD with new SSD/HDD.

The product videos I saw is having empty slot to add on. Now I feel like being cheated. :(

Like @JackE said there is a m.2 SSD slot inside your laptop that can be occupied as well. Of you were to opt for a larger HDD you could purchase a m.2 SSD and clone your current drive to the m.2 which would free up your HDD slot for a larger drive.

I don't think you would be pleased with out right replacing a SSD woth a HDD though, the performance difference might drive you mad now that your used to SSD speeds.

Could you share the model number because there would be similar models which might support adding HDD and a few does not. it depends on part to part as few parts would be sold based on the countries and the specs vary.

You must not have seen the CNET specs nor understood the Amazon specs before your purchase.

There are 2 models in this series. 1 comes with a slot to add HDD and the other doesnt. I believe your device did not come with one.

    Thanks for info.

As per my one of queries, I mentioned that what I ordered and what I received are different. So asked in the forum about returning the product. No one told about this differences in slot availability. They said there will not be any great variation.
