How do I know the correct part number for the systemboard

I have a 14.8v battery in this unit and googling the part # produces ads for batteries that are 11.1 volts. The Ac supply is 19.5 volts and tests OK , when I plug it into the power board the voltage stays at 19.47 volts, but when I plug the power board onto the system board the voltage drops to around 3.5 volts with a fluctuation of the voltage measured on the connections between the actual plug and the circuit board. I am assuming the system board is shorted somewhere and needs to be replaced, but don't know how to be sure I am ordering the correct direct replacement board. Can anyone help me figure out what to order based on the identification tags attached to the board??

Actually, the Acer support website was confusing and provided no help for any machines that are out of warranty. Of course if you want to pay they will help. I went out to the internet and found Skyline Engineering, who resopnded to my email within 24 hours with the answer I was looking for :

If you have the serial number or SNID, your best option would be to contact technical support for assistance.
