Switch Alpha 12 - Screen does not dim

My Switch Aplpha 12 with windows 10, has suddenly decided to stay at full brightness.  I've tried resetting, updating drivers... no idea what to try next.  Any ideas?

    Please try these options one by one and check after each option. 
    >>Use the Hardware & Devices Troubleshooter 
    Type Troubleshoot in Windows Start Search box > Click Troubleshoot > Scroll down & Click Hardware & Devices > Click Run the Troubleshooter & follow on-screen directions > Restart the computer after troubleshooting is completed 

    >>Right click on battery icon in Task bar > Power options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings > Expand Display > Locate the values under Display brightness, Dimmed display brightness and Enable adaptive brightness > Change each of these to the settings you wish, then click the "Apply" button and finally the "OK" button > You should be good.

    >>If still unable to adjust the brightness try this...
    Use the computer's search and in the box type "Type Task Scheduler" (no quotes).
    Right click on "Task Scheduler" in the list and then select the "Run as administrator".
    Now go into the following folders... on the left of the window... "Microsoft", then "Windows", next "Display" and finally "Brightness".
    Here you want to double-click on "BrightnessReset" to open its Properties.
    Go to the "Triggers" tab and select the “At log on” trigger.
    Next click the “Edit” and see if the "Enabled" radio button is checked
    Now click on the radio button to clear it.
    At last you can click "OK" on the Edit trigger page and then click "OK" on the Properties page.

    Thank you for responding so quickly.  I've tried the first 2 options with no success.  The 3rd option i was able to get to the windows pull down menu but there was no option for the display.  Am I missing something?
