Problems with windows 10 build 1803

Why Acer does not intend to upgrade the firmware of its E5-57G notebook since it does not support Windows 10 build 1803? I do not think it takes any hardware changes. Has    anyone managed to fix boot and standby problems in particular?

    This problem does not interest anyone? Is it possible that even technical support does not help Acer customers overcome these problems? If so I think Acer does not deserve any confidence!

    If the problem is that the device shuts down & does not wake from sleep mode, then you can try to check for a loose screen connection:

    If that does not work, it may be necessary to do a factory reset or a clean OS Reinstall.  

    If that is not the problem, you need to be more specific.

    The problem is that after the update of windows 10 build 1803 the pc often hangs at startup and it requires several attempts to start it.Also, if after a certain time during the use it goes into standby the screen stays black and will not turn back more, and it is necessary to turn off the pc and restart it.Is there a way to solve the problem without format the pc?

    The pc drivers are all updated, but I am certain that the problem is with your drivers Acer model E5-571G which is not compatible with Windows 10 build 1803.But because Acer does not fix these issues?

    Unless identified as such, forum members are not Acer employees/representatives; therefore we have nothing to do with Acer hardware or drivers.  We are merely volunteering our time to help other users. 

    It appears that 1803 is buggy.  Hopefully you have an system image of the previous version.  Stop the 1803 update as shown in this tutorial after reverting to the previous version & wait for Microsoft to fix the bugs.

    The solution you propose is the most inconvenient for the users of the Acer.Why Acer does not behave as the other manufacturers , who have up to date drivers on their pc, and helps its customers? Acer sells pcs with Windows preinstalled and then I think that q is her duty to update the driver, even in respect of those who had confidence purchasing new pcs.This according to me is called do the real customere care.

    I know that you are a simple volunteer, but I also know that the technical support Acer technical paid by Acer will read these complaints and cannot ignore them.The Acer customer must know that in case of problems Acer abandons them?

    The problem is not solved even with the new windows build 1809.I have to resign myself to having a pc is faulty because Acer does not protect its customers, adapting its drivers ?It seems to me absurd.No one is having my same problems? If fixed them as fixed them? Of course, without formatting the pc.

    I contacted the help center the official Acer but they have  given me no help.Only on the advice of format.This pc is not in the list of those on which they intend to intervene to update the drivers.It seems right to you?

    Hello, dear colleague @! I know you've already tried updating your notebook drivers! Although Acer provides some drivers optimized for your model on the site, drivers are not often updated! I recommend you use a program called driverbooster so it can download the most current drivers for your notebook!
    It is possible that the problem is occurring because of fast start up! Try disabling it from the power options:

    Also do a disk cleanup:

    If this does not resolve, I'd like to know which version of bios is installed on your notebook:

    Have you checked that updating the notebook drivers with the driverbooster solves the problem?
    If it still does not solve the problem, it is possible that doing an installation using an iso from microsoft solves the problem! However you will lose the recovery partition of Acer!

    I have done all the things that you told me and nothing has changed . I was hoping not to have to format the pc but maybe I'll have to give up. I am very sorry for this and will not buy never again an Acer product. I think that Acer had the duty to protect the buyers of its products.

    On the problem of the screen turning black, this may be being caused by the quick startup! You can disable in the power options:

    Regarding the crashes, it is possible that in the task manager, the disk is at 100%! Can you check this?
