Hey guys I’m hoping to get an answer because I’ve tried almost everything and nothing’s worked I’m worry I have an acer brick! I did a “reset this pc” and at around 38% I got a “failed to reset this pc” message and after I rebooted the pc all it does now is boots up the acer logo and then goes dark and does it again continuously! I’ve tried command prompts and tried the automatic repair and still does the same! Please help me. Thank you!

    Hi LordTrippy,
Sorry to inform you that looks like your computers OS is gone corrupt. Please try going into BIOS and checking if you can see the HDD name and serial number. Please follow these steps.
    1. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, or until your system shuts completely down.
    2. Power on the system. As soon as the first logo screen appears, immediately press F2 for notebooks or Delete for desktops to enter the BIOS.
    3. In this screen go to BOOT. and check if the HARD DRIVE or HDD shows any name or serial number. If it does its great . This means that the harddrive is getting detected. If you see" none " or nothing by the side of HDD it means that the HDD has gone bad and will need to be replaced.
    4. If you see the HDD name or serial number.
    5. Press F9 and then Enter to load the default configuration.
    6. Press F10 and then Enter to save and exit. Unit restarts if you go in a loop still try performing the factory reset again, by following these steps.
    7.  Reboot and immediately press and hold ALT key while tapping the F10 key till the recovery screen appears then follow instructions. Factory reset. Delete my files, Remove every thing. If the reset goes by great. If it fails it means you will need to get  a RCD usb for windows 10. For that contact acer.
    8. Please let me know if this fixes your issue

    Hi LordTrippy,
If you are not seeing HDD it means that the harddisk is gone bad. Please contact acer support to see repair options if you are in warranty.
