Thinking to buy the Aspire 5 A515-51G

Hello everyone,

I am very seriously thinking to buy a laptop and specifically the Aspire 5 A515-51G. The configuration I can find in Greece and that is closest to my needs is the one with the part number NX.GT0EX.00 (details here https://www.acer.com/datasheets/2017/4876/A515-51G/NX.GT0EX.007.html). The only exception is the hard drive. This model has a 1TB HDD, but I would like an SSD. So, I have a couple of questions with respect to this and I hope you can help.

1) If I buy an 2.5" SSD, how difficult will it be to change the drive? I have read that if the specific model has already an M.2 SSD, then adding a second disk in the 2.5" bay is quite difficult (requires a special kit from Acer, etc.). But since the model I am interested in already has an HDD, I assume that all these parts are already there and only the disks have to be exchanged. Am I right on this?

2) I am thinking to buy the 1TB Samsung Evo 860 (if you have another recommendation though I would be interested to hear it). I have read that there are SSDs with 7mm and 9mm height. Which ones fit into this laptop?

3) If indeed only exchange of drives is required and I make the exchange by myself (I can do this) will I void the warranty?
