Hey everybody  i have bought the helios 300 8th verison
Fresh out of the box i did a benchmark test with cinebench.

All tests came out low
30 fps
About 600 cpu rate
And 90 single core

Is there anything i should know in how to make my hardware perfome better?

Fresh out of box... bad time for testing! Highly unoptimized!
    1. Let the finicky at-will windows update itself completely!
    2. Tune the system to your liking, like removing unwanted stuff and such.

    And then try running benchmarks.

Also, most importantly, if you have issues likes heat and such, follow the thread https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/535036/faq-cpu-gpu-temps-fps-settings-other-info

And then try running again. These laptops are pretty powerful!

Does the benchmark sound logical for this state of computer?

I apologize for some reason I thought you said the Helios 500 🙄

It sounds like your Intel GPU is running your game instead of the Nvidia GPU.

    Haha thats ok man.
The cinebench doea recognise it as the 1060, so i doubt it is using the intel gpu

Is there a way i can check it?

You can check in Nvidia Control panel under "manage 3d settings" then on the program list find the application and make sure Nvidia High Performance is selected.

Are you running on battery or plugged in?
