Hello,

I recently purchased an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-51-522L. Intel i5 7300HQ, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050, 8GB DDR4, 1TB HDD

Currently there is a 1TB HDD in the easily accessible storage bay.  My understanding is that other configurations of this laptop shipped with an SSD in the M2 slot, located next to the RAM bay.
I would like to install an SSD into the M2 slot and migrate my OS on to the SSD, but I am having a hard time figuring out if I can do this.

Is the M2 slot bootable?

Is it SATA or PCIe?

I was able to find the size, 2280, but am unable to find the keying (B, M or B+M), even Acer support was unable to give me this information.  I would prefer not to have to open up my laptop and void my warranty to get this information.

Also, what type of motherboard does this particular model use?

When speaking to Acer support, they gave me a list of compatible SSDs, but I noticed the keying was different for some of the SSDs.  I just want to find out what is compatible for my particular model.

For reference, I am thinking of purchasing: https://www.amazon.com/256GB-based-solid-Hynix-HFS256G39TND-N210A/dp/B075R93L6S
Thank you.
