Bought the laptop and couldn't bstand Windows 8. After searching for 2 hours to find a solution to why my USB ddrives wouldn't work, imagine that, Microsoft, anyways, I have successfully install Win7 Pro in it and added a ssd. Things rocking it. Only issue is the driver on Acer support can't find the 730m. Says no card can be found for this driver. Go to Nvidia to get the driver, they say, can't help you, because Acer blah blah blah. So basically stuck with 4000 graphics from the CPU which isn't going to cut it. Main reason I bought the thing, i7, HT, and 730m. So.....any ideas??

Edit: After thinking over and over. I finally decided to download the Windows 8 64 bit Version of the Nvidia Driver. To my shock ' not really ' it fixed the issue. So, Acer support, please take out the download for VGA_NVIDIA_9.11.1111_W7x64_A under the product list under options Windows 7, and paste link to VGA_NVIDIA_9.18.13.1100_W8x64_A in your site structure. Didn't want to completly spell it all out, do it all, lol. j/k. So many products it happens. But, after 2 hours of searching and trying to resolve, maybe that will help others from doing the same. Now enjoying the product I had hoped for, woot.

Thanks for the info.  I have the exact same laptop and am probably going to load Windows 7 Pro also.  I hate Windows 8.  With the driver you have and Windows 7 can you set the NVIDIA processor to be the default graphics processor.  There is no way to get to it in bios to turn off the Intel 4000 graphics, and under the default load in Windows 8 the NVIDIA control panel has very few settings and you can't go to NVIDIA and download the latest drivers for the 730M and install them.  The NVIDIA drivers say the hardware couldn't be found.  This kind of ***** drives me nuts.  I have a Windows 7 Ult desktop with a GTX 660 ti and I wish this system would set up like that one.

I am probably going to go to NewEgg where I bought this and give it a 3 star rating because of the configurability issues.  The bios is also pathetic in the settings area.
