My windows 8  laptop is not recognizing x203h monitor. The existing driver does not seem to be working properly. Is there a compatible Windows 8 driver available for this monitor.

What is the make and model number of your laptop?
Please  change the screen resolution of the monitor on your display adapter settings?
Acer monitors work on the “Plug-and-Play” principle, meaning that aside from physically connecting the monitor to both a power source and the computer, no other steps or driver are necessary to have the monitor function correctly on windows computer.
Windows will automatically detect your monitor and use a built in plug and play (PnP) driver to provide the supported resolutions in most cases. Plug and play monitors usually do not need a separate monitor driver.

Most of the functionality of the getting images from the operating system onto your monitor is incorporated into the video card driver. Not only Acer, most monitors from all manufacturers are all plug and play these days.

    Hi,
Thanks for responding. The Laptop is a Dell Latitude E7450. I am connecting to the monitor through the port replicator using a VGA cable. The problem is that the proper resolution (1600 x 900) is not appearing when selecting the resolution from the Display "PnP Monitor" on the control panel.
