@PrivacyFreak: I noticed the new Bios-version v1.19 on the Acer Product Support Page too, but did not deploy the update yet. The last time I let Windows search for updates (july 9), Windows did not find it. Bios-update v1.18 was deployed by Windows Update.
I will look into it tomorrow.

@PrivacyFreak: I flashed the bios to v1.19 (from Acer-file). No problems so far, however, there was no new file in the directory Windows/firmware and Device-manager (wrongly) stated that the bios was still on v1.18. After two days I tried a driver update from the device-manager. It found a new "driver" and installed it. No bios-flashing occurred but now the device-manager showed bios v1.19 and a new file was dropped in the Windows/firmware directory.

@reneH: Thanks for the information. I updated the firmware driver in Device Manager and it now correctly shows the v1.19 firmware. Strange that Windows Update could not find the firmware update for my system this time around.

I found the solution! The missing driver has something to do with Intel Smart Sound Technology (SST). On a German forum I found the driver. unzipped it and installed the inf-file. The error was gone.

    Download URL: http://www60.zippyshare.com/v/1eZMzZwd/file.html

Now you see (SST) in the name of the sound devices.

this method worked for me thanks(i downloaded zip ,unzipped it and from device manager i installed driver)  :)  :)
