I use an Acer V5-122P laptop.  After the Windows 10 update in March 2018, my Synaptics touchpad has lagged. The driver version is 19.1.3.6 and is from September 2016. The "Update Driver" button in the Synaptics app is greyed out.  The Synaptics website does not offer assistance on its driver products.  Does anyone have experience with this issue and resolving it?

Edit: posted in the wrong forum by mistake. Not sure how to migrate to different forum.

Is the driver rollback option also grayed out? If not, try rolling it back. If grayed out, try unistalling it, exiting Device Manager and rebooting to let Windows redetect the hardware and re-install the driver. Jack E/NJ

Same issue here. I've no roll back option and removing it and letting it install again hasn't worked either. I've even fully cleaned and re-installed Windows 10 with no joy.

    Anything else to try ?

    Cheers,

@Gareth1125 OK. F2 into the BIOS menu. Check the main tab for any touchpad options that might be available. Jack E/NJ

JackE, same as Gareth1125 w.r.t. rollback. I will have to check the BIOS menu and get back to you.  FYI: I reposted under the Windows 10 forum section because I don't know how to close out/migrate posts that are under the wrong forum.

That OK @motruffa . Really doesn't matter too much which forum you post to. Let's keep it here. Jack E/NJ
