Hi All,

I have been having a bit of bad luck with the predator x34 on my 3rd one now and considering returning depending on what Acer support come back to me with.

The issue I'm find with these monitors is that on white background there seems to some kind of bleeding when the brightness level is set to a low setting of 0-10.

I'm a programmer and constantly work on white backgrounds with low brightness levels.

Are any other people experiencing this issue?

The monitor on the store is flawless.

Bad quality diffuser/reflector. There are "wrinkles", creating non-uniform backlight ("dirty screen effect").
Pretty usual with modern monitors & TVs, unfortunately, though its worse with some (as these are usually not included in min. quality standards of anything but highest end panels).

You may want to look in business/professional monitor market instead of "gaming" ones if static picture quality is most important to you (as doing web/graphics design and/or programming).
