I have an Acer Aspire A01-431-C8G8 that appears to be stuck in the colorblind setting. I have search the web and cannot seem to get the colorblind setting reset back to normal.

I have tried the CTRL+WIN+C, but this doesnt open settings

I am running WIN 10 build 10240.

Any help would be appreciated.

The simplest way to go from grayscale  to full color mode is to hit CTRL + Windows Key + C, which should work right away. If you hit the same key combination again, you'll go back to grayscale.
Type "color filter" into the Windows search box.
Click "Turn color filters on or off."

You can also press Left Alt, Left Shift and PrtScr keyboard buttons. You screen will flicker for a moment, and then you will see you regular theme again. This keyboard shortcut allows you to toggle a high-contrast theme on or off.

Hit 'Like' if you find the answer helpful!

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

Sharanji, I wanted to first say thank you for trying to help. Unfortunately, the options you gave me, I have already tried, numerous times. I probably have 15 hours working on this now, and am at wits end.

CTRL + Windows Key + C ........Doesnt work

Type "color filter" into the Windows search box............ This will only open a Microsoft edge web page as a search, and go to web pages that give similar instructions as you just wrote.

Click "Turn color filters on or off."............ Option is not available. I even tried to search for it, but only goes to a Microsoft edge search page.

You can also press Left Alt, Left Shift and PrtScr keyboard buttons.........Unfortunately, this doesn't work either.

If I go to settings, then ease of access, I have the following subsections:
Narrator, Magnifier, High contrast, closed captions, keyboard, mouse, other options.
I tried to high contrast, but it is already set to "NONE".

I think what my issue is, is that this computer has a really early WIN10 build, and the option is not there, although, I am unsure how it got stuck in this setting in the first place. The computer worked fine for several months, then one day, just got stuck in this color blind mode. It isn't greyscale, just reds and greens are shown as more of pinks and other odd colors. Watching a movie is rather odd, and makes me want to just break the thing over my knee, and go buy anther one. I would update WIN version, but dont have the hard disk space, nor do I currently have a thumb drive or the downloaded newer build versions of WIN 10.

Any other help would be greatly appreciated.
