Starting recently, doing something as simple as watching a YouTube video with bring my CPU to 80 degrees. I only have one tab open. This is very weird as this should be extremely simple for my computer to do. I went into Intel's tuning utility and gave my CPU an voltage offset of -0.045 (If I'm remembering correctly) and it didn't seem to help much. Should I offset it more, find someone to replace the thermal paste, or what?

This sounds very high for just a YouTube video. If your laptop fans and vents are clear and the undervolting doesn't help, I would let your PC run idle for a few minutes and then check your task manager. Click CPU to get a list of what's taking up the most usage. You may need to optimize your background processes to free up the CPU a bit.

How good is the clearance under your laptop? Do you use a laptop cooler?

If you want to undervolt, please look in the sticky for the undervolting guide. Typically when undervolting we start at - 0.100.

I'd like to add to check for dust buildup, especially if the temp change was sudden.

For basic tasks like that, it shouldn't get hot.
Also do you have the laptop on your bed or lap. This laptop has air intake vents on the bottom. Also, get some felt pads or something similar under the 4 feet and try lifting your laptop by about 1/2 to 1 inch more. That should help cool it.

If you have Win 10 Home, it could be that Windows updates could be pushing themselves into your laptop in the background.

I have about 4 tabs open, a disk restore operation in the background onto a USB connected hard disk, and below the screenshot from my Predator Sense.
