I honestly don't even know how to describe this, but crashing is the best way I can. At the bottom of this question I'll include what Predator I bought. (I don't know the model)
So for the past 7 days, Literally the whole time I've owned it, I've experienced at least 30 crashes all the way up to 50. When I say crash, I refer to it locking up and freezing, where I have to hold the power button down to hard restart. (Or sometimes wait for about 10-20 seconds for it to shut itself off instead.) I love the computers ability and a lot of it's features but It's really annoying. One of my favorite games, War Thunder, crashes it a lot, which it takes normally about 2-3 matches (15 minutes each) for it to crash. For the most part its in the middle of the match. When I go and play The Crew, which I would believe is more graphic intensive and stuff, it doesn't crash while I play it, except for once. Today, I tried to play Payday 2 and it crashed after I tried looking at steam marketplace. Now most of these instances were for games, but that's not the only time it happens. After one of the crashes I decided to open up Youtube after hard restarting the computer, it crashed as the page was loading in. I'm about to just send it back in and buy the Lenovo Legion or save up for a different laptop for gaming. If anyone actually knows how to fix this please reply. I really don't want to send it back for a refund.
I actually don't know the model but this is what I bought.

    Update the BIOs.
My P-17 did the same thing until I updated BIOs.

Go here and enter your models information to show all updates for your model.

I'm on BIOs 1.13 with no issues. 👍

Shoot. My page didn't refresh everything...

Red-Sand is correct. Update BIOS and drivers first and see if that helps.

To be honest, it sounds like an hardware defect. Some things you can look into:
    • What is the temperatures of the cpu and GPU?
    • Have you tried resetting Windows?
If those two don't help, it need sent in for repair/refunded.

I understand it does sound like a hardware defect and even I thought I was sold a lemon.

But the BIOs update fixed it for me (same issue) so i think it's worth a shot. 😎

I know. I remember you having the issue now that I think about it. I just edited my post. I just kind of woke up from a nap.
