TPM Update for Aspire R7

I just upgraded my Aspire R7 to the latest Windows 1803. I now have a message that I need a TPM update, but the link supplied for Acer machines doesn't show any Aspire models.
Chat says go to community. A search shows a long conversation in late April, but it's in German. Anybody have any ideas?

I encountered same problem the same way on my Aspire S7-392. Haven't found anything yet.

I read the German discussion, and it ends with someone saying German Acer Support said an update would be coming from Microsoft on May 9.
Acer Support habe ich schon ein Email geschrieben, angeblich kommt von Microsoft am 9.5.2018 ein Patch.

Okay, today is already May 10, and I haven't seen any signs of TPM updates, but still, maybe there is hope!

Ok so where’s this German update? It’s 05/22/18 and I’m just now getting this warning about the TPM on windows defender. How vulnerable is my laptop? Is it safe to use or should I go buy another laptop? Won’t be an Acer ever again. Been buying Acer products for 10 years now and so has my family.

June 2 here. Windows is refusing to allow my device to connect to any network (I tried connecting to my N3DS on my local network) unless the TPM module is updated.

I have just gotten off of the phone with "Free" tech support, and they have said that the TPM update will be rolled out to devices that are still under warranty (The R7-571 was released in 2013 and discontinued in 2015) upon request, and to the general public before the third quarter (July-September) of this year

i was having this issue as well, after logging into my bios to check that i had TPM turned on there, per advice from a random thread for another manufacturer, and it was, but i decided to clear the tpm from within my bios. after doing this all seems to be well for me. Hope this helps someone else.
