Tablet mode is not working on my swift 3

Hello, does anybody have an idea of what happened when I already turned on the tablet/pad mode? I could not use it since I bought this laptop. I have WIN 10 and Acer Swift 3

  Turn the machine completely off. Remove the keyboard. Turn it back on. Does pad mode work now? Jack E/NJ
