Hi! Apologies for any grammar mistakes as I’m typing this in my phone and can’t properly correct my grammar.

My laptop is a Aspire E14 E5-474-580Z and whenever I tried to on it, it will be stuck at the logo screen. I can’t press anything such as F12. But I can force shutdown it with the power button. I’m not sure why this series laptop doesn’t have a switch behind it to remove the battery so I can’t even remove the battery even if I unscrew all the screws behind it.

I’m really at loss at what to do so advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

I end up sending it for repairs and they told me it was a hardware issue so I had to redownload windows again.

Hi, For your information the battery in this laptop is sealed and cannot be taken out separately. To fix this boot issue, 1st try performing power drain. To do that, just flip your laptop and locate a tiny pin hole at the bottom of laptop. You can also see a battery symbol next to that pin hole. Use a suitable tool like paper clip or pin and insert it to that pin hole and hold it for 30 seconds. When you insert the paper clip, you can feel that you are clicking on something. Once 30 seconds is completed, just remove the pin and flip the computer. Try powering on the unit and that should do the trick.

I did as your suggested but it’s still stuck at the logo screen afterwards. When I turn it on, the fan seems to sound like it was about to start up before stopping, maybe the fan has a problem? I had it send for a diagnosis yesterday and they didn’t say anything about the fan being an issue so I’m not too sure.
