    Yes exactly,
I would like to find a way to use it. They say: TeachSmart educational software for enhanced teacher-student interaction and works with multi-colored LED lights on the notebook’s cover to let students signal teachers.
I would like use that led, Teachsmart doesn't work, is there some software or another way to use it?

That LED is a status indicator with the following built-in functions. Do you mean that Teachsmart seems to install but the LED doesn't seem to respond to screen touches? Jack E/NJ

The led works, it indicates battery charging, sleeping, and other status as you said.
The <Teachsmart is already installed on the system,  Acer Teachsmart, but it doesn't work, it keeps saying: Impossible access to Dolphin survey server
I don't know anything else about Teachsmart, nor what "dolphin survey server" is, I was just searching a way to use the led as I saw in the Acer advertisements.

Go to this link for the B117m. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/6660?b=1  Click on documents. Download the pdf user manual w10(& w10s) . It has a description of the teachsmart application and what you'll need to do. One requirement will apparently be setting up Microsoft student and teacher online and one drive accounts. Jack E/NJ

Thanks I know that. But as I said the Teachsmart does NOT start, it stops before showing operative windows, so it is not possible setting up Microsoft accounts.
Is there some technical information how  to set the led colour, maybe an ASCII sequence, maybe a string, maybe a software, not necessarly the Teachsmart that I am not able to start?

    >>>Teachsmart does NOT start>>>

Sorry. I thought it started up but just didn't work or do anything. Is there an error message when it stops loading? Do you see any indications that it has in fact loaded without a window either in Task Mgr or as an icon on the TaskBar? If none, you might want to try to re-install the drivers if you have the earlier version.  http://teachsmart.org/support.html   Jack E/NJ

Teachsmar starts, it is loaded, thinks a while, then a popup window say something like "Impossible access to Dolphin survey server" What that dolphin is for I don't know :( if I know how to control that led I could even write something by myself, using c++ or something else. thank you JackE

Sorry. Seems like the installed Teachsmart executable is trying to reach a server address that is no longer valid or is currently down. I have no access to documentation on controlling the LED aside from the Teachsmart console. So I can only suggest taking a screenshot of the exact language used in the Teachsmart unreachable server popup, then posting a query here. http://www.teachsmart.org/support.html  If a Teachsmart console remains after closing the popup, try to get its serial number. If not, use the ACER machine's serial number id (SNID) in your query since ACER was the re-seller. You can also click the ACER service link below, have your machine's SNID ready and directly contact an ACER customer service rep on this---however I doubt a rep can do much about an incorrect or unreachable address embedded in a piece of installed software.
