I am getting the same thing with my Predator G9-793-78cm.  It has been happening for a while now, and it is grating on my nerves.  I haven't even been playing games on it.  I have just been copying files from one drive to another, downloading files, etc.  Windows Explorer will just freeze, say it's not responding, and resume normal business in 10 or so seconds.  I am running InsydeH20 BIOS Rev 5.0 V1.14 (the newest one on the Acer site).  I am also running the latest NVidia graphics driver.  I will try updating the WiFi drivers.  I have not tried that yet.

    Are you guys undervolting?

If so try to lessen your undervolt.
If using Throttlestop try lessening Speed Shift EEP
For example on SSEEP - If set to 128, change to 110

I am not using Throttlestop or undervolting.  I think I may have done a few things over the last couple of nights that may have helped.  I made sure I had the latest BIOS, graphics driver, sound driver, WiFi driver, Ethernet driver, and Bluetooth driver.  I also went into Intel Rapid Storage Technology and disabled Link Power Management and Write-Cache Buffer Flushing.  I even increased the size of my virtual memory to 24 GB, which is 1.5X my physical RAM.  So far I have not had any more hiccups.  **keeping fingers crossed**

    I'm glad it working bro!
If it happens again then try going to "Reliability History" by clicking the start button and typing that in and see if you can't get a screen shot of the error occuring.

    Fingers crossed with ya!
