Hi. I have a problem with my predator helios 300 G3-571. For no reason after, i reinstal my windows , the SSD is runing very hot . Before reinstaling win i didn't have this problem . For example after i open just spotify the temp goes from 46 degree celsius to 59. Can anyone help me please?!! I can't play(not even small games) or watch anything.

    Do you have a m.2 SSD? Or a 2.5?

Whats the Brand and model number? Try unplugging it and replugging it back in. Sometimes that works. How old is your laptop? Have you cleaned the inside of it with a duster?

The brand is Micron and model number is 1100 - MTFDDAV256TBN. It has 10 months. i tryed to unplugg and replugg but nothing changed. I clean it one month ago .
How can i know for sure if its a harware problem or a software one ?

Is this a serious question? SSD's do overheat, as there's no heatsinks on them. Normal operating temperatures are 0-70C

This is sorta normal imo if you wanna fix it more I recommend a cooling pad they go for $20 average. It helps my Nitro 5 keep cool

Rares95 yes this is a serious question ! Before reinstaling my windows the the temperature of my SSD ,for normal usage ,was 35C-40C . And now after i turn on my laptop in about 5 seconds the temperature gose from 35C to 51C without any runing programs , so not even light usage. If i try to play a game like Prey,FarCry 5,League of Legends the temperature gose from 51C to 76C-79C. I asked this question becouse the SSD is the only hardware componet that has a problem after reinstaling win!

    Hi,
You could also try a heatsink for M.2 SSD, please watch these videos and decide on what to do.
