Question, Does anyone know what keyboard the G9-793 uses? I ask because I do not use windows on this laptop and I use Linux, however the way I could change the colors on the keyboard in the past was with Predator Sense on windows 10. Since Predator sense isn't for any other OS I'm trying to figure out how to do it in Linux. If anyone has any experience or knowledge on this I would appreciate the help.

Thanks in advance

The keyboard backlight colors are Red, Green, and Blue and it depends on the main board and the keyboard backlight firmware utility. The keyboard backlight firmware would differ for different models and locked for editing. Some models only supports red on letter keys and blue on the number pad.
For Linux don't exactly know how to do that. How do i get permissions to add files into those folders? How do i run the files?
I found this about writing a script that controls the D-bus input and the backlight for Linux

Thank you for the reply. My backlight works fine, it's being able to change the colors is what I'm struggling with. Thanks again though for the reply
