Hi!

I just purchased this laptop and while turbo boost active the temp hit 94C!?
Bios is updated to the latest..
Drivers up to date.
If i run something even a youtube video temp hits 76 degree!

I disappointed in acer because the cpu is good but the cooling system is horrible!
Cant handle this cpu, i had disable turbo boost in order to use safe and not cook the chip.

What is this? I paid for a good laptop but i cant use the raw power of this machine?

    Hi!

If i disable turbo the temp is only 48-49 (the max temp) no matter what i do.
But i cant use turbo because the temp is so high..

    Hi,

you can try the below steps and check it makes any difference.

Press and hold Windows + X and select power options > and under the power plan settings click on change plan settings, now click on change advanced power settings, check for processor power management and click on it, here it shows maximum power state on battery and charger. here you can adjust the settings and see if it makes any difference

Thanks for your advice but i know that.. In advance settings i did 99% in order to disable turbo boost. But this is not a solution to work only base speed.. 1,6ghz..
I want turbo, I want performance not the base clock speed.. So i still need a solution for this serous problem..

I had some overheating issues too so what I did is undervolting the CPU -0.90 and the max temps were 80 degree
