I open the back panel and there are 1 M.2 slot with m key, i search online and  M.2 with M Key can use NVME ssd. I use HWinfo but there is no info about my m.2 slot. It just show the populated slot like GPU, wifi and LAN. i just want to know if my laptop support NVME M.2 with 4x speed. I want to buy Samasung 960 Evo if it can fully support. If not i will just buy M.2 sata.

Hi, @ Salpiedah To make you clear about compatible SSD and performance of it, I am sharing the specification table below.

The models which are marked in red color are compatible models with respective specs. Hope this helps you.

    Hi,

Please share the part number of your laptop. There are so many part numbers available in this model and only a few has the option to work with it.

and if this is your unit part number
NH.Q2QAA.002 then it is very much compatible with M.2

My part number is NHQ2RSM002, i Know it compatible with M.2 because it has the M.2 slot with M key, but i want to know if i install Samsung 960 Evo, will i get full speed(NVME Gen3 4x). If it only support sata speed or x2 speed i will just buy M.2 Sata SSD
