Hi
I would like to add a second m.2 drive in the available slot.
I have the toshiba one on the first slot. I would like to add the samsung EVO 960.

1/ when I tried to plug the toshiba (2280) on the second slot, it just would not get in. Should I apply more force ?

2/Also, is the acer bracket (33.q04n5.001) mandatory (it seems very hard to find in France).

3/ The second port is not nvme, but only sata right ? So I cannot expect more than 550Ms ?

Thank you

    1. The toshiba SSD has an M key connector, while the 2nd SSD slot is a B key. That is why it is best to look for SSDs with B+M connectors, as they can fit in both M key and B key slots.

    2. It isn't mandatory, but it is best to have it, as without it the SSD can break potentially by moving the laptop around, unless you use something to hold it tightly on one place.

    3. That is right

    You are welcome :)
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
