Drive letter problems external USB hard-disk Windows 10 Home.
Hi I'm new here.
I have been working with external hard disks for years, I have never had any problems with external USB hard disks.
I recently got a new notebook an Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-793G-77RA with Windows10. The computer work very well. I only had to get used to the screen matte.
The problem is using eternal hard-drives. When I connect an external hard-disk, the hard-disk will recognized but the partitions are not visible. I have first to re-allocate the drive letters with disk management ????????
What is that for a nonsense.
In the previous versions of Windows the drive letters were automatically assigned.
Is there something wrong with my windows10? Is there a solution?
Does anyone have the same experiences?
Let me know
