Aspire 5250 - Maximum amount of RAM?

I have an Aspire 5250-0650 to be exact, with the following specifications:

AMD Dual-Core Processor E450

AMD Radeon HD 6320

4GB DDR3 RAM

How can I determine the maximum amount of RAM that I can install? Also what speed? I would like to upgrade to 8GB if it's possible and I'm aware that it would use SODIMM RAM.

Thank you for any and all advice.

    Hi I have a Acer Aspire 5250-0670:
    • AMD Dual-Core Processor E350
    • AMD Radeon HD 6310
    • 3GB DDR3 RAM (two slots 2Gb + 1 Gb) }
    ... and I also want to upgrade its RAM memory to 8 Gb.
    Googling I got that the maximum RAM I can install is two 4 Gb cards. Yet when in Ubuntu I ran:
    $ sudo dmidecode -t 16
        Handle 0x0024, DMI type 16, 23 bytes
        Physical Memory Array
            Location: System Board Or Motherboard
            Use: System Memory
            Error Correction Type: None
            Maximum Capacity: 3 GB
            Error Information Handle: No Error
            Number Of Devices: 2

    ¿Does this mean I can't upgrade it?
    I don't want to buy the cards and then realize my computer can't use them.

    Thanks in advance!
