Issue :My laptop purchased late last year exact model (E5-575-50RM) suddenly from last 2 days giving electric shocks when touching keyboard when on power.
Till 2 days before there was absolutely no issues on charging or in power via ac outlet at my home.
I checked with a technician and confirmed absolutely no issues with my electric ac wall outlet or extension cord with which i use other devices like charging phones.
i.e No earthing/grounding issues.
Does anyone seen shocks all over keyboard and it is quite serious?
in battery mode no issue so far after i disconnected from outlet.

Please give your ideas as i had no such issues for last 5-6 months and i am within warranty,(so obviously trying to get in touch with service centre as well) .
i noticed the shock just 2 days back all over keyboard, initially it was like vibration under the palm rest space of keyboard esp with right side/right hand side getting warm as well.
Then these vibrations/tingling became more pronounced and when i tried to power off it even the power button in keyboard give a shock.
So far no issues with battery mode usage though

    Hi,

i believe this is a serious concern and it should not be delayed in bringing it to customer care notice. but first please let us know if you are using acer original charger or a 3rd party. if 3rd party then check with acer original charger. if the issue still persist please call acer technical support.

    Thanks for reply.
I am using original Acer laptop charger only as I don't have any other.
It is kind of strange as nothing significant changed in my setup or usage here for last 5 months.
I always work with laptop in power mode connected to wall outlet via good extension
    Board.
Extension board looks good, wall ac outlet also checked for earthing/grounding etc no issues.
Tried changing to another ac outlet at my home here just to chk but still get vibration/tingling with shock in keyboard after a while.
So have reached out to acer service centre for now.
