its ok no worries, you'll just have to wait untill the battery is discharged, after discharging, recharge it then it will normally back to its good condition..

Is it still under warranty? If so I'd contact Acer support. If it's out of warranty you might try opening it and disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, then reconnecting it, reassembling it and trying to turn it on again.

I've encountered the same problem and I'm currently waiting for the battery to fully discharge. I was considering inserting a pin into the reset hole, what is the extent of the reset using the hole? Does it reset the tablet to factory settings i.e. will I lose all the apps that I've installed?

    I'm not an Acer employee.

    Had this issue too.

The usual trick with Android is to remove battery and try recovery. As unable to remove battery use Pin Hole below volume button to tempory disconnect battery.

Whilst holding Reset Pin, press and hold Volume Up(+).

Keep Volume Up pressed and let go of Reset Pin.

Keeping Volume Up pressed the device should enter Android System Recovery.

Basically, use the Reset Pinhole as the Power Button for the recovery method.
