MY LAPTOP MODEL G3-572 GETS REALLY HEATED IF I TURN V-SYNC OFF AND SCREEN TEARING HAPPENS

so i was getting a bit of an input lag playing fortnite and i turned the v sync off and my fps got from 60 to 120  but now my gpu gets over 87 degrees also i dont have the adaptive vsync option in nvidia control panel also there is screen tearing if i turn the vsync off any help will be appreciated thanks in advance

    VSync is meant to put a cap on how high your FPS reach esbased on your screen to prevent screen tearing and computer usage. The Helios 300 supports 60FPS.

    You will get these two results when VSync is turned off. Have you tried enabling Triple Buffering with VSync? Triple Buffering should help with the input lag when VSync is enabled.

    Another option that has been pointed out (not tried by me though), is disabling Shader Cache which supposedly can help with input lag.

    BUT I STILL WANT TO KNOW WHY I DONT HAVE THE ADAPTIVE VSYNC OPTION IN MY NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL IS IT ME OR DOES EVERY MODEL HAVE THIS?

    I TRIED DOING IT STILL NO RESULTS THERE IS STILL INPUT LAG AND FRAME RATES ARE AGAIN CAPPED AT 60 :(Skelomorph said:

    No, the G3-571-3 does not have the option for Adaptive VSync. Why, I don't know, but none do.

    No, the G3-571-3 does not have the option for Adaptive VSync. Why, I don't know, but none do.

    i turned the vsync on in the control panel and also the triple buffering but it was still off in game and my laptop was still getting pretty hot any suggestions for that thanks in advanced?

    Try disabling Shader Cache in Nvidia settings. As for heat, look at the temperature section in the sticky thread.
