Was working fine last night when I was using it, now when I tureen it on I just get a black screen, I hear the turn on sound, keyboard lights up mouse lights up, but nothing from the screen, I've also tried the pin hole reset and leave for 5 mins and also tried plugging into another monitor to no avail

Have you tried booting the computer into BIOS to see if the display is active?  Maybe a hardware issue (GPU) or just a corrupted graphics driver.  Also belive the reset needs to be left for 20-30 minutes.

Did you happen to turn off the screen with the function key?

Sometimes it's the little things :)  in this case the OP has already tried an external display, equally never say never and well worth a try.

You could try clicking ctrl+shift+del in the same time which will result in blue screen that contain many selections you just need to go to task manager and then add new task from the first menu and write explorer.exe and then press enter and I wish that it will work.
