Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz, 1800 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date Insyde Corp. V1.32, 24/10/2017
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB

so just bought this last week, everythings fine but when gaming while charging it significantly slows down like use to be 60 fps medium in fortnite but after plug in goes to 30 fps or lower, and ut good with battery. tried the change power option to high performance as well as advance setting to make the process 100 percent min and max. the only thing i havent tried is bios update which a lot of thread is recommending. any thoughts?

Check your power plan again or make your own plan to make sure the system is set to high performance when plugged in. Avoid a BIOS update unless it specifically addresses a problem you are having. Jack E/NJ

You can try to re-set the machine to a factory-fresh state. If a reset doesn't fix the issue, then immediately return it to the vendor for a refund or replacement since ACER warranty repair will take a lot longer. Turn the machine completely off. Then follow this video, except press & hold the ALT key and start tapping the F10 key immediately after turning the machine back on --- that is, don't wait for the ACER logo screen to appear.
