Laptop freezes and fails to boot Windows 10

I turned on my Acer E5-511 laptop yesterday and it wouldn't start properly.  I get the Acer logo and whirlygig dots that suddenly freeze before Windows has loaded.  I've forced a shut down and the same happens again.  After a couple of forced shut downs the Windows troubleshooting option appeared.  I've tried every option from the most basic up to the most serious (restart, restore, refresh, reset the computer) and nothing works.  On the refresh and reset options they seem to work but then try to install something and freeze at 10%.  Obviously power is working (it was plugged in during the above activities) but Windows seems to be the problem so I've created a repair disk and then a recovery drive (admittedly from my desktop) and it wouldn't boot from either - freezing problem again!

I don't use it often enough to remember every little thing that occurs with it but I think there was some sort of update a few days ago, although I can't remember if I've used it successfully after this.  Still a restore would have gone back before this update.

Any tips on what the problem is and how to solve it???  It's a really good spec laptop and others on sale currently look much more expensive than what I paid for this so really hope I can recover it as I need it for a workshop on 19 April.

thanks

it's better if you call Acer support service, it can be an hardware issue.

It's out of warranty, hence my query here.  Are there no Acer people on here?

Take it to a PC repair shop, in my opinion there is a HDD/SSD issue.
