I had the same problem with TWO Acers. Found this suggestion on this website, and it worked!! "uninstall any trial version AV programs(if any) installed and use Windows Defender, disable Fast Start-up " Not sure which one worked, or if you need to do both.

No. The ACER model number. Not its serial number. If possible, please edit your post to remove the serial numbers. Jack E/NJ

If it does re-set while using the keyboard, it may suggest that an internal motherboard safety switch is being accidentally activated from pressure on the case. Some people have found simple fixes for these random restart and shutdown problems but requires opening the laptop. This may be related to your issue. Jack E/NJ

Also, when I press the f2 key to login to boot laptop, I will not boot it. However, the bios update fixes the problem and after several times there is no possibility to enter the boot again.

To enter the BIOS menu again, you must first make sure your system is completely shut off. Then turn the machine back on and ****immediately & instantly**** start tapping the F2 key. Don't wait for the ACER logo screen to appear. Jack E/NJ

The keyboard may be defective. What happens when your shut the machine off, then press and hold the Q & W keys, then push the power button to turn the machine back on while still pressing and holding the Q & W keys? Jack E/NJ

The F2 key may be defective. If you press and hold any two or more other keys, the BIOS should detect a keyboard error and let you enter the BIOS menu. Test this way to see if you can force opening the BIOS menu. Jack E/NJ
